Page 14-15: At the Church. While walking down the aisle, I felt like crying.. what stopped me? Well, my wedding dress!! I really had a hard time walking with that gown - it was really beautiful though.

Page 16-17: The ceremony.. nice Church. The lights were really wonderful! It was the day before the 3 Kings so they didn't remove the Christmas lights yet. Lucky us!

after 8 months, we finally got to see our wedding album. the problem is, we had to give it back for some changes - not our fault though. we asked for a metallic glossy finish and they gave us metallic matte. we have the mini (parent's) album anyway and the big big portrait so, it's still cool. and everything was worth the wait! :)

Page 1: It's got a nice view of the Church! This was taken after the wedding mass when all the guests already left for the reception.

Page 2-3: During the bride's prep! I really loved the flowers that Lala made for me!

Page 4-5: Still during the prep. This page has my fave pix in it - my Mc Donald's Cheeseburger lunch before the wedding mass!

Page 8-9: This is me, my page - the bride! Finally, after more than 6 years, I'll be walking down the aisle to meet and marry myCoco!

yummy sunday lunch for free?! why not!

at last, our food tasting at bellevue pushed through. zoe and i scheduled it at 12nn and we arrived 15 minutes late. whew! *buti na lang our food was still so delicious*

for starters, they served Bread Roll and Butter (well yeah, after they gave us water and iced tea!) - nothing really fancy here.. how would you expect your rolls and butter to be served anyways?!: *no choice, haha*

then came the salad:

for me was Honey cured Norwegian Salmon On Fennel Salad and Mustard Dip *our choice*

and for myCoco it was Balsamic Marinated Grilled Vegetables (now, you know why we got the Salmon!)

there were two choices for the soup but we weren't able to get a pix of the first one - Cream of Potato and Leek Soup.. it was also nice but we loved the Cream of Carrot Soup (orange - motif!):

next, they served Crack Pepper Crusted Beef Tenderloin Red Wine Glazed with Tarragon, Buttered Brocolli, Vegetable Pearls and Mashed Potatoes for me:

and, Roast Loin of Lamb with Morels in Cream Gratinated Leek and Majoram Potatoes for myCoco:

dax really, really, really enjoyed his lamb but we still opted for.. oopss.. not in the choices! well, we had dinner before at bellevue and we really loved their Beef Tenderloin in Red Wine Sauce, Buttered Broccoli, Carrot Pearls and Potato Gratin.. so we chose that! no picture... but looks almost the same as the one above the lamb except for the pepper and the potato! yum yum!!

lastly.. the desserts!

mine was Eaton Mess with Blueberries which was equally yummy... it's just that myCoco didn't like it as much as the raspberry

and myCoco got White Chocolate and Raspberry Mousse On Dark Chocolate Mirror *our choice*

it's december part 2

i had a "surprise bridal shower".. and i was really surprised. my friend angel, scheduled a dinner for me and our HS friends somewhere in makati (no place yet) at 8pm. whoa, 8pm!! did u realize we already moved to cavite!! dax didn't approve of course! it was already too late for me to go home if we finish at 11 or 12! i begged and begged and made the invitation as an excuse. "i had to deliver the invites *kasi* honey!" hehe! then i told him, it's at 7pm, 730pm.. whatever. then i decided (yesterday) to bring my parents with me.. they would watch a movie and wait for me.. or i would wait for them.. to which dax said yes. *buti na lang pala at kung hindi, all the efforts of my friends will be put to waste!*

of all the people that angel asked me to meet.. *naman kasi.. bakit si lani?!* always late and always saying sh'es already in the area but, she's still at home! i told angel ill just proceed to max's or wherever they plan to meet.. aba aba aba!! she didn't answer straighforwardly so i said, OK I'LL WAIT! (impatient and hungry.. im being a brat again)! when lani arrived at the meeting place, she was on the phone with angel.. and i was thinking.. why was she asking angel "pede na ba kami pumunta, anjan ka na ba? saan ba? sa 2/f?".. then i said, "ayon pala, 2/f o e di halika na kasi im hungry!!! ang kukupad kasi naman kasi! bakit kelangan pa ng permission ano ba!" while walking from mc donald's at glorietta until we reached max's.. lani was on the phone.. *ano ba!* while at max.. she was acting really weird, we already knew angel was on 2/f but we were waiting at the ground floor.. *ano ba kasi! akyat na tayo!* and when i turned my back i saw mikee and cherry.. "ano ang ginagawa nyo dito?? weekend na weekend nag gagala kayo!!!" (i really didn't have a clue kasi friends naman sila at mahilig mag max so wala lang! kala ko nag malling ang 2 to buy gifts or something).. i even told cherry, ill go ahead cus im meeting my HS friends.. hahaha.. and when lani was going to the "Ruby" function room, i was like, "hoi ano ka ba! san ka ba pupunta"... then.. "waaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhh! kaya pala" was the next words that came out of my hungry mouth! the party was super kakatuwa! pictures c/o tina -

it's december!

after so many days.. im back for my wedding updates! well, we've accomplished a few things on the list for the past weeks.. it's december and there's no delaying.

december na! i still have a lot of things on my list. demmits.. waaaaaah! im going nuts. when i looked at the calendar and realized that it was already december, my sanity left me. now, i know i still have a LOT of things to accomplish for the wedding and im running out of time. so what i did was to.. panic! then i said to myself "ok, ruthie. bukas na lang!" hahaha! pero i still made some calls.

first fitting (bridal gown): december 11, 2005 (PM)
find a new emcee (story below): waaaaaaaah! i called lala, my florist for help but i already have someone in mind!

yes, my emcee (lorraine) told me she can't make it on my wedding day a few days ago. waah.. panic mode again! but this time, i really have to work on a lot of things! what i did first today was to find a new host for the party. my original plan was to get my DLSU teacher to host my wedding (he did my debut).. but i was too shy to ask before. now i really have to ask else i won't be able to find one this late. to make the super short story even shorter, i emailed sir rene molano and he replied so quickly with a YES and he asked for the details. i am so lucky. the good lord loves me! wippeeee!! (he sings soooooo well too)!

number 2 on my list was to call mr. pasinos (yup, ryan! i just want to call him mr. pasinos)! he's the only one left in the entourage without the measurements for his barong! *hoi ryan, alam ko taga antipolo ka.. pero ang measurements mo please!* but now, we have another option for ryan.. let him go to his tailor and just text us the measurements.. i think this is way easy than going to las pinas, right?!

third would be to confirm our food tasting for saturday.. aba aba aba! even this one has some problems?! zoe from bellevue asked me if we could have it on sunday instead so the chef could be with us.. sunday lunch.. well, that's fine! not really an issue:) *basta food, we could spare some time* yum yum!!

i tried to set an appointment with the quintet too.. i'm still waiting for their confirmation. ms. malot wants to have it on sunday (timing!) PM. nuninuninu!!

i am mrs. dax solis in 65 days!

the past few weeks has been really stressful for me! i met with my two good friends, tina and angel, who are very much willing to help me with the wedding coordination for free! i just have to listen to whatever they have to say, bear with their *kakulitan*, a lot of reminders and them telling me that:

• it's just xx days to go, ruthie! you are getting married!
• did you buy your shoes?
• do you even have a veil?
• when are you going to have your trial make-up?
• did you meet up with your emcee?
• where is your to-do-list?
• is the misalette done?
• when are you sending the invites?
• what about the souvenirs?
• what about your gown? did you send your pina to the modista?
• do you even have a wedding ring?
• cord? candles?
• your pouch should have powder, lipstick, tissue, oil control film, etc. do you even have a pouch?
• are your permits ready?
• pillows? arrhae? bible? stockings? garter?! (don't forget to wear your garter, demmit!)
• do you have a program? (luckily, my emcee is in charge of this)
• when are we going to do the placecards? (these are really nice! can't wait to make them!)
• put your payments in an envelope!
• does your parents know your gettin' married? (just kidding!)

... and the list goes on! *aba! eto na ang aking mini-checklist*

but i really appreciate all these! if not for them, i might even forget my wedding day (just kidding, honey!)
